Hi friend! Welcome to Fruit of Her Hands. Thought it would be a splendid idea to tell you a little bit about the simple small town artist you’re buying from. My name is Kayla! Nice to meet another artsy soul! I hope you’re doing well. I’m working on another piece as we speak and I hope you love it. I hope you love it as much as I love using these feeble hands strengthened by Jesus Christ to create in many different shapes and forms. I’m a dorky, hyper human who loves to paint, draw, sculpt, sing, write lyrics and encouraging devotionals. I love photography and I love doing formal hair. I love to thrift old things and make them new again.
Truth be told I could sit here all day and tell you about the many other things I truly love and enjoy but none of that compares to how much I love Jesus. He’s my why behind my every breath. He’s pulled me through many nerve wracking art competitions, music solos, wedding hair fiascos, long photoshoots and wall murals bigger than me. I don’t know if Fruit of Her Hands is my calling, but I know I pray daily for the Lord to give me His desires and to do away with all the rest.
For longer than I can remember, I’ve desired to build up Fruit of Hands as a place to create in many different forms so I never have to choose one joy over the next. These hands desire to help those in need in ways we otherwise couldn’t. These hands desire to build a rooted home my family, friends and church family will be proud of and can use to create unity in Christ and loving memories to last a lifetime. These hands desire to build a studio to make new Christian art and music that doesn’t hold back the raw truth, while simultaneously drawing you closer to God’s truth. These hands desire to encourage you into another day through Christ. May these hands inspire you to chase your own God given dreams.
